Perched within the tree canopy, this custom home captures sweeping views of Puget Sound while maintaining privacy and accessibility for years to come.
Perched on a hillside with stunning westward views of Puget Sound, the Edmonds Sound House is a custom residence that reflects thoughtful design and expert craftsmanship. Built by E&H Construction, the home is seamlessly integrated into the natural slope of the site, carefully respecting zoning constraints such as building setbacks, height limits, and easements.
Designed for long-term livability, the primary living spaces are located on a single level to ensure full accessibility. This main floor is nestled within the tree canopy, offering both panoramic water views and privacy from surrounding properties. Below, a smaller lower level houses secondary spaces and opens directly to the outdoors, creating a strong connection to nature.
A series of decks and patios, sheltered by deep roof overhangs, offer year-round outdoor living opportunities and help extend the use of exterior spaces into the cooler months.
